Getting Ready

People would not believe the amount of preparation that goes into getting ready for a wedding shoot. I have a check list that I use every Friday. I am a Nikon shooter, so I check and pack two Nikon D200′s and a Nikon D70 (for back-up). I format over over 40 GB of cards, pack seven lens, charge batteries, check camera settings, etc… (Don’t forget the ladder).

Now that it is all done and the equipment is ready to be loaded, I am getting excited about tomorrows wedding.

Hi Will,

I am José from Madrid (Spain). I am trying to start my own wed-photographic business. I will appreciate a piece of advise. If you do not mind, I will like to ask you:

1.- I am a Nikon shooter too, I am thinking to start with a Nikon D700 (Full-Frame), I appreciate any lens recommendation. My back-up wil be my Nikon D80. What do you think?
2.- I have a lot interest in preparing and the workflow for wedding photography, any advice?
3.- What about the results for the customers: Digital Albums, DVD, Web, what is better?

Thanks in advance.
José
