On Tuesday we headed up the coast to Santa Ynez, California. This area of Southern California is ripe (no pun intended) with beautiful vineyards. So what better way to photograph an engagement session? Combine it with wine tasting. We packed a little picnic and met up with Jessica and Jason at the Gainey Winery. Later we visited Bridlewood Estate Winery and the town of Los Olivos. It was a perfect day – great people, fabulous weather, awesome wine and a few great images. Check them out below.
On a side note – it was quite the day for me. On the way up to Santa Ynez we stopped in Solvang, where I visited my favorite leather store, where they had a very cool leather messenger bag with my name on it! After photographing Jessica and Jason we stopped in Santa Barbara for dinner where I ended up visiting the Apple store and purchasing a new Mac Book Pro laptop for my new messenger bag. I need to stop buying computer bags.
