Today I thought I would address male fashion sense for weddings and bad posing.
The only two colors I can envision a groom wearing for a formal or semi-formal wedding would be black or linen. Stay away from other colors – they will not stand the test of time.
As for a quick posing guide, if you visit a wedding photographer and they have a sample album with the pose you see below – run! Do not stop running. It is just plain bad wedding photography.
The guy you see below in the powder blue tux (shirt ruffles are hidden) is me. Now, I won’t tell you how long ago this was, but I suspect the fashion sense and posing might give it away. But on the other hand the beautiful bride you see in the image has definitely stood the test of time!

it would have been better if you’d been riding a big wheeled bicycle with your pretty bride on the handle bars… all to the tune of “rain drops keep fallin on my head..”
