Williamism No. 2 – Family Heirlooms

Many times when I first meet potential clients, I discuss the importance of capturing great images on their special day and presenting them in an album. I often mention the value of these images, not just being for the bride and groom, but for their children and other future generations.

I can attest to this myself. As many of you know, Autumn 2008 was extremely difficult for me with my father experiencing a bad accident.  I had to travel back home to Canada three times and move my parents into an independent living facility. I was tasked with cleaning out their basement, which contained a lot of junk and a few gems. I found previously unseen pages and images from my parents wedding album 62 years ago. I had never seen how happy they were as they left the church and cut their wedding cake.

Words cannot describe how these pictures make me feel. On your special wedding day you are starting a new family and memories for generations to come.

Thanks Dominoe. I have other images that I hope to post some day. It is so true that they become more important as time goes on. Thanks for your well wishes for my dad.
